Tplan is as near the final algorithmic solution of the school timetable problem as anyone can reasonably require.
Tplan is the integration of two different systems acting as a unit:
- Wintp the screen interface (written in Delphi). All communication with the user is performed by Wintp. Wintp receives timetabling results from HMTP via internal data files and displays this to the user.
- HMTP the timetabling system (written in FORTRAN). This system performs (almost) all timetabling work, data control and creation of various surveys.
